New Small Batch Line!

Real Pickles Small Batch 2018

Our first-annual Small Batch Line is just that: small batches of fermented vegetables! We’ve teamed up with our local farmers to bring you three delicious, fresh and seasonal recipes for 2018:  Spicy Carrot Escabeche, Shallot and Herb Kraut, and Hakurei Turnip with Dulse. Be sure to try them soon, as they won’t last long!

Somerville Fermentation Festival is this Sunday, A Somerville Fermentation Festival is this Sunday, August 16th, and we can’t wait for all the fermented goodness! 
Come say hi to Derek and Kate who are bringing back some of the first jars of an old favorite recipe that hasn’t been made in years! No spoilers, you’ll just have to come find out what it is! 
You’ll also get to meet fermenters working with veggies, tempeh, cacao and more, plus live music and a speaker series throughout the day.
