#HelloEasthampton! 👋 We're thrilled to announce that our second store is opening for business TOMORROW... Thursday, July 1st! We will have a ribbon-cutting at 10am, and then we will open for business immediately afterward at 10:30am.

We couldn't be more excited for this important day and to start this next chapter in our co-op's journey with our community. There is so much to celebrate—especially all the staff, owners, community partners and local businesses whose hard work and cooperation made this important project possible. Thank you one and all!

Every August we come together as a community to share in the bountiful harvest! Farmers and talented chefs all donate their time and products to create an amazing meal that is served on the town common in Greenfield!

It takes a whole community to make a great community event. Sign up now to volunteer!! Link in bio.

Here’s a little history!! The Free Harvest Supper was started in 2005 by Juanita Nelson, an ardent pacifist, war tax resister, civil rights activist, and supporter of local, organic agriculture. She and her husband, Wally, helped found the Pioneer Valley War Tax Resisters, the Greenfield Farmers Market, and the Valley Community Land Trust. After Wally's death in 2002, she was instrumental in launching Greenfield’s Free Harvest Supper, which has become a tradition in the community ever since!

We can’t wait for you to join us this year for the 17th Harvest Supper!!

Savory oat bowl for lunch with sautéed shiitake mushrooms and spinach, eggs, kimchi, tahini-lemon-sriracha sauce, and a sprinkle of hemp seeds. I stirred a little rice vinegar and light miso paste into my oats when they were finished cooking to season it up. The sauce is simply: 1 TB tahini, 2 TB lemon juice, and 1 tsp sriracha mixed together. #lunch #lunchbowl #quicklunchideas #savoryoatmeal #glutenfree #dairyfree #tahinisauce #eatingforhealth #healthyforthelongrun
